What is Gospel Dance Festival?
At GDF, movement is more than motion. It is passion in action, purpose made visible, and courage brought to life.
Gospel Dance Festival (GDF) is more than an annual event — it is a movement that brings together young people, dancers, worship leaders, and church communities to celebrate faith through creative arts. Since 2023, GDF has grown into one of Jakarta's most anticipated Christian youth gatherings, creating a safe and inspiring environment where participants can express their gifts, learn from one another, and encounter God through powerful moments of worship and performance. Each year carries a fresh theme and a renewed vision, yet the heart remains the same: to glorify God, build community, and empower the next generation of worship artists.
Every step we take carries a story. Every rhythm we follow reflects dedication, discipline, and heart. We believe that artistic expression is a universal language — one that speaks hope, strength, and unity without saying a single word.

History of GDF
Rise and Shine
GDF was first held in 2023 with the theme "Rise and Shine." It marked the beginning of a journey where passion and purpose came together through dance. With the message that God awakened us from darkness and ignited His light within us, GDF became more than just a performance. It became a declaration of faith, hope, and new beginnings.
Never Lost
In 2024, GDF carried the theme "Never Lost." A powerful reminder that God watches over every step we take, guiding us through every challenge and every victory. Because He has never lost a battle, we move forward with courage, faith, and confidence. Through every rhythm and every stage, we declare that no struggle is greater than the One who leads us.
Open Heaven
In 2025, GDF carries the theme "Open Heaven." A powerful moment where God opened the heavens and poured out His Spirit upon us — renewing our hearts, strengthening our faith, and restoring our purpose. Through every movement and every performance, we step forward with fresh hope, divine direction, and a deeper calling to shine His light.
Move to Empower
In 2026, GDF rises with the theme "Move to Empower." This year, every step we take carries strength, and every movement releases purpose. Now, God sends us out empowered to move, to impact, and to be His witnesses beyond these walls.

- Bring your E-Ticket
- Exchange E-Ticket for a wristband
- Be orderly and polite
- Wear comfortable clothing
- Only bottled mineral water is allowed
- Keep your wristband on during the event
- Please keep an eye on your belongings. The committee is not responsible for any loss
DON'TS
- No laser pointers allowed
- Do not walk around during the performance or cross in front of cameras
- No pets allowed
- No seat tagging / reserving
- No food or colored drinks inside the hall
- Please do not disturb other attendees
- No smoking (e-cigarette & vape) and no alcoholic drinks in the entire concert area
- No sharp objects or items that can be used as weapons
